SONM Featured On Consensus 2017

The third yearly blockchain technology summit was held between May 22nd-24th, 2017. Among other great projects, SONM (Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining) was featured on the summit. The summit was biggest to this date, attracting more than 2000 people and 100 speakers from the leading blockchain based companies, Fintech solutions, academic groups, investors and enterprise technology leaders. SONM was presented along with representatives of IBM, Microsoft, Coinbase, BTCC,, Zcash, JP Morgan and others.

The SONM team did a great job introducing the public to SONM’s supercomputer network and how it can totally transform the world of distributed computing. The results are:

The community managed to build reasonable awareness about the project. During the summit, many people stopped by SONM booth expressing great interest in SONM.

SONM team have been approached by potential partners and advisorship contacts including cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken; blockchain based platforms and services, and well reputable members of the blockchain community.

SONM team managed to meet up with potential crypto-investors and venture capitalists. A lot of people are considering joining SONM’s ICO within the first hours of its start.

SONM team also announced our alpha launch (Quake) which will work with Docker and Paas. This goes along SONM team’s intention to utilize more innovative solutions such as Cocaine and Docker container which supports multiple languages e.g. Node.js, Java, Go among others. This announcement attracted much attention, especially that oppositely to SONM’s competitors (e.g. Golem and, SONM is the first coin to launch an alpha release before the ICO starts.
